I have always been interested in aquariums and I have had some freshwater tanks in the past. I love the color, vibrancy and diversity of a reef tank though but I have a dilemma.

I really like the tranquility of a low flow fresh water tank. Salt water tanks with their need for high flow just seem to me chaotic and not restful. Is there anyone who has struggled with this and who has some insight for me?
