I have an anthropology background and have worked as a tour guide in Tokyo for a while. Recently I have started a new endeavour and am operating tours with a business partner. We have recently hired 2 new guides and are in the training process, I am looked for people who would be interested in coming on a free tour so that my guides can continue to gain experience as well as start to build up reviews so we can make more sales in the future!

■ Salary & Work Style

At our company, compensation starts from ¥5,000 per photoshoot.

After that, pay rates increase based on:
• Customer review ratings
• Shooting quality

Rather than simply evaluating the number of bookings completed, we place strong importance on how satisfied customers are with their experience.

■ Shooting Schedule

Approximate shooting time per session: 1 hour

Standard booking slots:
• 19:00
• 20:30
• 22:00

Based on this schedule, it is possible to handle multiple shoots per day.

■ Employment Types

① Full-Time Employee
• Base salary: ¥180,000
• Plus incentives (paid based on number of bookings and review performance)

② Freelancer
• Fully commission-based (shoot rate × number of shoots)

■ Recruitment Background

We are currently operating our photo tour business in the Tokyo area (Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Asakusa), and have built a stable track record with over 500 total bookings.

Based on these achievements, we are now moving forward with a full-scale expansion into the Osaka and Kyoto areas.

As part of this expansion, we are recruiting for the following positions:

■ Open Positions

• Osaka/Kyoto Area Manager (Full-Time)
• Photographers (Full-Time, Contract, or Freelance)

Osaka and Kyoto are extremely important markets with strong inbound tourism demand and significant future growth potential.

With that in mind, the purpose of this recruitment is to build a team of:
• People capable of managing operations on-site
• Photographers who can provide real value to customers

■ Job Responsibilities

Each photoshoot follows the process below:

① Pre-shoot communication (messaging and customer consultation)
② Meeting at the designated meeting point
③ Approximately 1 hour of shooting
④ Photo editing
⑤ Delivery of photo data
⑥ After-service follow-up

Delivery target:
35–45 fully retouched photos delivered within 2 days after the shoot

※ Compensation includes all of the following:
• Pre-shoot communication
• Shooting
• Editing
• Delivery
• After-service follow-up

In other words, this role involves managing the entire customer experience from initial communication to final delivery.

■ Staff Results

Staff A (Full-Time)
• Base salary: ¥180,000 + incentives
• Monthly income: ¥550,000 (March 2024)
Former bartender → transitioned into full-time photography
Photography experience: Approximately 7 years

Staff B (Full-Time)
• Base salary: ¥180,000 + incentives
• Estimated monthly income: Approximately ¥480,000 (April 2024)
Originally specialized in film photography → transitioned to digital

Staff C (Freelancer → Planned Full-Time Employee)
• Photography experience: Approximately 17 years
• Currently working alongside another job
• Planning to officially join as a full-time employee in the future

Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute social media strategies focused on growth, engagement, and sales
• Create, film, edit, and publish high-quality content across multiple platforms
