I gather that early handling and tong-feeding helps create confident and interactive snakes. If you have a particularly outgoing garter, what subspecies is your snake and who did you buy from? I'd especially like to support breeders who have large high-enrichment enclosures for their snakes.

I know every snake is an individual, but it'd be great to hear some examples. I'm looking for a snake that's frequently visible, approaches me for feeding, can be handled without musking, etc.
