Solo trip to Paros and Milos?
Hi! I’m a 28F planning my first solo trip and considering 7–8 days in Paros (possibly with 2 nights in Naxos or Milos). I’m flying from NYC and looking for a relaxing but still stimulating trip where I can spend most days at beaches/cafés while also exploring towns and different areas.
What I’m looking for:
- Beautiful beaches with clear water and places to lounge/swim
- Walkable towns with local shops, cafés, and restaurants
- Enough exploring to not feel bored solo
- Relaxed vibe (not looking for partying/nightclubs)
- Safe/easy for a first-time solo traveler
- A mix of slow mornings, beach hopping, reading, wandering, and nice dinners
A few questions:
- Is Paros a good choice for someone who gets restless easily but still wants a relaxing beach trip?
- Would you stay only in Naoussa, or split time between areas/islands?
- Is renting a car necessary, or can I realistically get around with buses/taxis?
- Any “must do” beaches, beach clubs, restaurants, wineries, cafés, or day trips?
- Anything you wish you knew before going solo to Paros?
Would especially love advice from other women who’ve done Greece solo. 😄
