Design / furniture pet peeve

I'm currently watching Dave and Jenny do a house in partnership with Habitat for humanity, and they are doing a room for a boy and a room for a girl. As this is a house for a family in need, I don't understand why put furniture in the kids'bedrooms that can't grow with them. Like, why not think long term? A race car bed??!?!? That kid is going to outgrew that bed faster than we can say race car!

And Jenny loves doing things like that, spaces that will become useless and impractical after the show is done. Hidden rooms, hidden slides, a vending machine... Like, why??

(almost) One year using Wegovy

So I've been on Wegovy for 11 months. Out of those I've been 8 on 1mg. I've lost 15kg / 33 lb

I'm hypersensitive to the medication so, when I started at .25mg I immediately had side effects. Nausea, sulfur burping, diarrhea/constipation and so on. Now that I've been on the 1mg longer the side effects have mostly subside, however, it stopped being as effective but I also don't struggle with the side effects as much or even at all.

Im going to a clinic that specializes in diabetes and weight loss, once a month I have a check up with a Doctor, a psychologist and a nutritionist, and I get labs every 3 months.

The only reason I haven't upped my dose was that they didn't communicate clearly the pricing when I signed up and they tried to charge me more without my knowledge or consent. In a month I'll be done with the plan I purchased at this clinic and will be upping my dose to the 1.75 mg.

I'm still about 10 kg / 22 lb from reaching my weight goal and I'm not ready to just stop the medication. I'll still do the labs and the psych consults but I won't buy the medication through them.

I'm kinda nervous about side effects acting up again, but, it's a small price to pay to feel a connection with my body, to not be a slave of my hunger, to not have food occupy all of my thoughts and dictate my day.

For the first time in my life I feel strong, present, proud and connected.
