UCSD Regents or UCLA for Engineering?

Hi all, I am currently committed to UCSD for Mechanical Engineering but just got off the waitlist at UCLA for Chemical Engineering and am unsure what to do. I slightly prefer MechE to Chem but would be fine pursuing either one.

I’m on an Opportunity Plan so cost isn’t really a factor, but the Regents Scholarship comes with extra benefits at SD like research opportunities and priority enrollment. However, I understand that LA is generally considered more prestigious.

Any advice would be appreciated!
