Thanks for the birthday reward Modo!

Very nice present, thank you!

(Maybe for Christmas you’ll grant permission to change the account email address so support emails don’t get blocked!)

I built a slot machine simulator that explains how modern slots actually work (validated at 100 billion spins)

I built an educational slot machine simulator called Hot Doggo:

It is not gambling software and uses no real money. The goal was to make the math and psychology of slots visible while you play.

A few things it does:
* Live RTP / bankroll tracking
* Monte Carlo reference bands showing where most players land
* Explanations of near misses, loss-disguised-as-wins, bonus framing, etc.
* Optional “marketing mode” toggle so you can feel how much audiovisual presentation changes the experience
* A “Reality” panel that explains what the machine is mathematically doing in plain English
* Side-by-side comparisons between different RTP settings

The engine itself was validated at 100 billion simulated spins to land within 0.001 percentage points of the target RTP.

One of the more interesting findings from the simulations:
At 96% RTP, the percentage of players still ahead of break-even eventually collapses to zero. In one 20,000-player Monte Carlo run, every simulated player was below break-even by about 300,000 spins.

The whole thing is a single browser page and runs entirely client-side.

Would genuinely love feedback, criticism, or ideas from gamblers, math people, casino folks, or UI/UX nerds.
