These Scarpa's have done me very well, and I'd love to keep using them. But the stitching has come away on both shoes around the toes.
Is there anything that can be done to salvage them? Gluing? Taking them to somewhere to get stitches and repaired? Or is it a case of in the bin these go, and on to a new pair?
Hi all, I'm part of a group planning an August hike through the Lofoten archipelago on the West coast of Norway. We've not been before, but we're pretty psyched for the scenery if a little trepidatious for the wet weather.
Unfortunately we don't have as much time there as we would like, so we have to choose where to spend our days. So far we're planning to start off on Moskenesøya and hiking three days from the ferry terminal up to Munken and around to Fredvang; then we have 3-4 days so spend on the rest of the archipelago where we like.
If anyone has been before, which are you favourite stages on the route? I'd love to hear your opinions
