To all the tourists from abroad, DO NOT move away from the paths and never try to reach the summit on your own. There‘s been another unnecessary death. A man ignored the signs, did not plan their trip respecting time and fatally underestimated the weather forecast!

Etna is a very treacherous mountain and it never forgives a mistake.

A tourist died trying to go near the eruption. He was caught by a lightning but BEWARE: Etna is a big mountain and has many unpredictable risks. DON’T GO WHERE the security don’t allow you to, especially out of the signaled paths.
