I'm not sure I'll make it through the summer

It's only like 20 degrees (c) out and I already struggle to breathe to the point where I get heavy brain fog and have to breathe so heavily my shoulders and back start hurting. We have a portable AC but the air that comes out also smells of something and doesn't bring that significant of a betterment. Idk how I'm supposed to survive 1-2 months of potentially 30+ degrees with high humidity.

My doctor says there isn't really anything we can do when it comes to treatment. Only other option I have is another clinic but I seriously doubt they have air conditioning at all so I don't even think I can go before fall.

Idk I guess just wanting to rant. Idk what else I can do. Apparently there's just nothing I can do.

Any content creators / channels to follow

Do you follow any informative channels / profiles on social media that explain stuff about asthma?

I don't always feel like looking up medical information in detail but in my experience there's always some creators that do really great work about educating about how conditions genuinely affect the people who have it, I just don't know any and searching for that mostly just brings up some pages that don't have good material and / or are dead for years.

My doctor said there isn't any way to treat it but I can't really partake in life at all because whenever there is other people there is smell (perfume, cigarettes etc) and I don't really want to just sit at home all day and be in pain after I make food or when I try to clean (because of dust or cleaners).

I read that it's also correlated with autoimmune disease, but I don't have any of those afaik. I'm unsure if it's also related to hormonal imbalances? I do take thyroid hormones.

Does anyone have any experience with this or has heard about any way to treat it?

Has anyone found a way to deal with sleep apnea?

I have only been sleeping a couple hours in the last 4 or 5 days and I just want to be able to sleep. Whenever I relax and are about to fall asleep my body jerks awake because it feels like my throat has closed down. I'm not sure if I can even hear the sound of it closing down. It has never been this bad. Ever since the weather has gotten warmer my asthma is so much forse but now I can't even sleep anymore.

I contacted my lung doctor if I can get a CPAP but it's the weekend so I won't get an answer before monday and I suspect they will say no. I can't really sleep sitting up. Does anyone have any tips what they do not to deal with this? My asthma is bad enough as is Idk what to do if I can't even sleep anymore
