New kitten not eating or drinking

Hi all!

We’re so happy to finally have picked up our 13 week old kittens Raye & Opal yesterday.

Raye (half&half face) has always been adventurous and boisterous personality wise and she really helped Opie (pirate eye patch) come out of her shell yesterday as the day went on. Opie follows her everywhere and they have been playing so nicely together.

Yesterday seemed to go really well for the first day, they used their trays and ate and drank and did lots of playing and they slept together all night.

We have kept the same litter and food the breeder was using for consistency too.

This morning Raye has eaten and drunk water but Opal hasn’t at all. She has been low energy and coughed up a fur ball at about 930am. Since then she’s been very reserved and still hasn’t eaten or drunk anything (it is now 10:30am).

We’ve tried dry food to see if that coaxes her into eating anything but she isn’t interested at all and seems to be withdrawing away from us and hiding.

I am mainly concerned that this indicates she is either quite unwell or really not enjoying her new environment. I’ve messaged the breeder who is also really helpful and am waiting on a response.

I hope I’m overreacting but I’m not sure when is enough time to wait watchfully, or if there is something else we could be doing.

We’re a calm home without kids and just want to make sure they are safe and cared for.

Update:
Hi all, thanks so much for all your comments. Opie became more withdrawn and flat and just did not seem right. We decided to take her to an emergency vet and she was running a slight fever so is staying in until further tests are done. Fingers crossed for our baby girl that she perks up and all is okay.
