So I'm new to modern dolls. I usually go for vintage dolls and I'm quite new to that as well. I'm just curious, are all doll releases like this? Seems kind of crazy that these are playline and released in such small batches to the point no one can get dolls. It's easier finding vintage/discontinued dolls than Mirror Mi lol. I saw someone mention maybe this is like a scarcity tactic, but that just feels weird to me. I just think they shouldn't have released any dolls yet until they had enough inventory or have people just preorder instead of creating so much disappointment for people. Not to mention the huge scalper problem and I bet with the limited availabilty between us collectors and the horrible resellers, kids probably can't even get ahold of them either which is such a bummer... Please don't tell me the doll world is as bad as the pokemon tcg world. I can't handle 2 hobbies like this! 😭
