With CR (& SBM) now 2 weeks away, I’m on full on panic mode. I’ve been attempting QB questions for CR but haven’t made much progress as every question takes me ages and I can’t seem to answer a single question. The sheer amount of information gets me stuck as soon as I read it and then I confuse myself and am unable to write anything down.

my foundational knowledge is weak, but I’ve been practicing but this doesn’t seem to make me feel any more confident or comfortable while doing question. Like I am genuinely struggling to answer because every question is so different.

any tips at all would be appreciated please help…. :(

Hi everyone, as we’re all making our way through the QB, I thought it would be helpful for people to share some good questions - (ones that cover wide range of topics, ones with useful answers to bring in the exam hall, ones that are quite niche and rare, or ones that you found helpful to understand a certain topic/adjustment). It would be great if we could share a couple in this post so that people can prioritise these/print the answers out as a helping point.

Any kind souls willing to share a QB breakdown of the topic/chapters tested per question?
Specifically which questions test hedging? If you have the ACAM notes or any other breakdowns, pls could you just note down which questions are relevant to which topics?

How is everything finding the AI for CR? Any tips/areas that you think are particularly helpful? Any questions that seems likely to appear? Any interesting findings that you have spotted?

Hi All. I need your honest advice - I’m taking CR and SBM in July. I’ve made a start on CR and have really been struggling with the QB questions but plan to keep trying.

I haven’t touched SBM at all and was exempt for FM/BST. Realistically, what should I do in the next 3 weeks (whilst balancing and prioritising CR)?

I’m not confident with FM knowledge and not great at waffling.

Would looking at 1 question a day be sufficient? What areas should I be focusing on? Is it worthwhile looking at content?

Grateful for any honest advice (CR advice would be appreciated too)

How should I study CR? I’ve tried a couple of sections of questions (per chapter from the ACAM notes) so far I’ve only looked at subsections of a a couple of questions and haven’t actually done any questions in full.

How are people approaching studying for this exam at this stage?

I have been slammed with work and haven’t made any progress with CR/SBM. I have the 3 weeks before the exam off, which abt 1.5 weeks at exam preparation with Kaplan.

is this enough time?

I’m sitting CR and SBM in July 26. Honestly struggling is an understatement. I just started QB for CR and I have no clue what I’m doing, it’s taking me a day to get through a question and I still don’t get it. Any advice would be extremely helpful.

Also I was thinking of getting the ACAM CR notes, how helpful is this at this stage?

I have some notes that I received but they’re pretty longwinded and take a while to find things, I need to spend a lot more time going through it. Would it be better for me to get the ACAM ones and start there?

where is everyone at with their CR/SBM studying?
I’ve spent a couple days listening to the recordings online and reading over the notes for CR and have done about 50% of the notes. Haven’t done any QB questions at this point and I don’t know if I’m running out of time / very behind everyone else.

I've only spent a day on SBM so far to read through the contents but again haven’t looked at questions.

I’d really appreciate any advice - am I very behind where I’m supposed to be at this point? Should I continue with content and aim to finish this by next week and then start looking at the QB for CR next weekend?
