My situation is quite intricate, and I'm finding it challenging to locate a practitioner whose main expertise lies solely in BPD. I'm not looking for a general psychologist who occasionally works with personality disorders, but rather someone whose primary focus, specialty, and perhaps even research is dedicated to BPD. I need someone who can truly delve into the nuances of complex cases.

Lately I’ve (23F) been feeling a bit disconnected socially, and I’m curious if anyone else feels the same.

Over the past few years, I’ve noticed that a lot of people seem to follow the same trends, interests, and social expectations, and sometimes it feels hard to find people who are comfortable being fully themselves. As someone with more niche interests and a different personality, I often end up feeling like the “weird” one in conversations or social groups.

I also feel like there can be a lot of pressure in Kuwaiti society — especially for women — to act or present themselves in certain socially acceptable ways, which can make individuality harder to express openly.

I’m genuinely just wondering: where do you find people who are more unconventional, authentic, or comfortable being different? Have any of you struggled with this too?

I am wondering whether you could live abroad after graduation. I wonder if I am actually able to live abroad after my kuwaiti scholarship? I'm Kuwaiti, in my senior year of medical school, and wanting to live abroad. But I don't know whether MOHE has a bonded obligation requiring me to return home and work there for some time. Any advice?
