Been trying to save this plant that was gifted to me. We have gotten a lot of rain the last few days. I topped dressed with tomato tone and some manure compost.

Should I cut any of these dying leaves?

2 plants gifted to me, I don’t know much about them. They were pretty root bound when I got them. They are all green and looked fine but now are yellowing and brown.

Given these two plants, should I do any trimming? They are both staying outside.
