Pixel 6 Pro Heating & Battery Drain
It all started out a couple of weeks back. The phone suffers heavy battery loss, even when idle. Losing about 15 percent battery hourly even with the screen turned off. Also, heats up all the time, sometimes even when not being used.
Already tried factory resetting and installing an older update.
Something wrong with the processor or charging circuit? The second screenshot from Inware shows high battery discharge current (800 to 1000 mA at idle), earlier it used to hover around in the four to five hundred mA range. The first screenshot shows throttling and high CPU usage, though the performance remains okay for the most part. The usbc-therm-adc remains stuck at 96 degrees for some reason. The port is not warm to the touch and I've tried cleaning the port.
