Coyote SL Install Issue

I got my countertops installed this week and am trying to install my Coyote SL 42” in the insulated jacket. The jacket fit perfect in the counter. My issue is the electric wire loom on the right side. It’s tucked up in the channel, but it comes down to the front too soon and there is zero slack. I can’t push the grill back any further because of the wires. Any ideas?

Stone Veneer Questions

I’m in the process of building a DIY outdoor kitchen with steel tube framing, cement board and a natural stacked stone veneer. I have two questions before I install the stone.

  1. When I installed the cement board, I left about a 1/2” gap so the board wouldn’t suck up rain water. The frame is resting on leveling feet to keep it off the ground. Should I install the stone flush to the ground (concrete pavers) and maybe caulk it to provide a seal, or is it better to leave a gap with the stone also?

  2. My wife and I are debating if the doors and drawers should be installed first or the stone. I have all Coyote products, so they have raised/rounded edges. I was going to install these first and then the stone up to the edges so it’s a tighter seal. However, due to the door edge design the stone will stick out much further than the edge. The second option is to install the stone first and then the doors over the stone. This will look better from a distance but the stone is very uneven so there will be big gaps all around.
