Has anyone checked out Widow's Bay? I like it so far - definitely giving me some Flanagan vibes (especially Midnight Mass, mainly since it takes place on an island, but also some other stuff), just more humorous.
My girlfriend and I took a short weekend trip in the woods surrounding Oslo, Norway last weekend. Found a nice spot overlooking a lake (Langvann).
The weather was very nice, warm but not too much direct sun, a bit of wind so the mosquitoes left us alone. There were a couple of other tents in the area, so it wasn't quite as secluded as the pics imply, but it was very quiet.
We didn't bring too much since it was just one night, so we biked from the city center and walked from the edge of the woods. It's been a while since my last camping trip. I'd forgotten how much my back hates it - I had an inflatable air mattress but I should probably do some research to find a better (softer??) one that still packs lightly.
