I'm an incoming class of 2030 student at harvard and i was thinking about doing one of the freshmen pre-orientation programs over the summer, but i wasn't sure which one to pick. I am stuck between FUP and FAP, and I was wondering if anyone had experiences in these programs? FAP is my first choice, but I'm not great at playing instruments or acting/dancing, so I'm not sure if it's right for me.

Also, if you did any other program, please let me know how your experience was!! which one do you recommend?

I was a pretty lonely kid in highschool and i really regret not branching out. I felt like people already had their own cliques and groups and i didnt truly connect with anyone. I'm determined for college not to be the same way.

Do you have any tips for making friends? how did you meet the people closest to you now? where/when are the best places for meeting new people, and did you meet friends in class, clubs, etc?
