I've been reading since 2016, so it's officially been 10 years since I've been reading webtoons. Shockingly enough, I've never abandoned the app for longer than maybe two weeks throughout all the years, even during the purgatory of reincarnation isekai that felt like groundhog day. The list is:

The very first webtoon I ever read is a webtoon I'm sure none of you have heard of, it's magical 12th graders. After that it was winter moon, boyfriend of the dead, unordinary, etc. Oh, and honourable mentions to siren's lament and I love yoo (which yes, I still keep up with), both of them are very special to me even though they didn't make it to the top 10. I'm definitely open to recommendations for newer webtoons because I feel like it's gotten so much harder to find good webtoons now.

The symbiote Circuit is so underrated! It only has 12 episodes out right now but the plot is so intriguing. The author's other webtoon, Chasing Tails, is literally in my top 10 webtoons of all time and I've been reading webtoons for 9 years now so you know that's a big compliment. I love how all the leads are morally dubious and the mystery's really interesting, I need more people talking about this rn!!

Assigned each character a pokemon, similarly to how the sanrio collab worked. Here are the explanations!!

Ichika: feel like she would get an important pokemon since she's the main character. Since I gave pikachu to miku, I chose mew for her

Saki: relates to her time in the hospital, audino also looks similar with the pigtails and colours

Honami: it's literally an apple pie

Shiho: matches her lone wolf vibes

Minori: eevee just fits her so well like it's literally perfect and I can't even explain why

Haruka: meowstic's a baddie, she's a baddie, it works out

Airi: literally looks like her + cat theme

Shizuku: vibes

Kohane: hamster, plus the hangry mode side fits her duality of cute + cool

An: grafitti/street art theme

Akito: deadass looks like him. I chose the mega version because it's more emo

Touya: i had the hardest time with touya. I ended up just choosing inteleon based on vibes but there's probably something that fits him more idk

Tsukasa: mr mime was a close second choice, I just thought he'd have a funnier dynamic with snorlax. I think the juxtaposition of a lazy sleeping pokemon + tsukasa who never stops the grind would be fun

Emu: it just fits perfectly

Nene: honestly tinkaton was a contender for emu because it looks like her close game offline card, but I think it also fits nene because it has that gamer vibe. But the colour scheme doesn't match which bothers me. Meloetta and porygon were my other options

Rui: it's made of plasma and it can enter electronic devices, just makes sense tbh

Kanade: pure vibes

Mafuyu: mimikyu hides it's true self behind a disguise and mimics others... I mean could it get any more perfect

Ena: smeargle was literally made for ena. It's an artist *and* it matches her colour scheme

Mizuki: sylveon is literally like a walking trans flag

Miku: mascots.

Rin/Len: they're twin pokemon it just makes sense

Luka: milotic is pretty and luka is pretty

Meiko: I could totally imagine meiko being officer jenny

Kaito: idk it just looks like him

I honestly can't believe that kohane has one of the most hated voices in the game, I always see her come up when people talk about their least favourite singing voices. Am I under psychosis or is everyone else because she sounds absolutely incredible to me??? Her voice is so satisfying, every line of hers is straight eargasm

What are some side couples you liked as much/more than the main couple? I love chowon doyoon from see you in my 19th life, I actually liked their story more than the main. And honorable mention to suho and inhye in trash belongs in the trash can!!

By the way, in case anyone thinks I'm being biased, here's my personal ranking of the units by how much i like them:

1. Wonderlands x Showtime

2. Leo/need

3. More more jump

4. Vivid bad squad

5. Nightcord at 25:00

I had the absolute hardest time with Mafuyu and I'm still not sure about the one I picked for her. If anyone's confused about what T and A mean:

T = Turbulent, basically self-critical, emotional and susceptible to stress

A = Assertive, more self-confident and calm

And of course, this is just gonna be my opinion. I'm not gonna be biased at all towards ships I like (I mean, I'm a kanamafu shipper LMAO) and will judge honestly whether I think they'll actually work as a real couple. Healthy friendships don't always equate to healthy relationships!

And no getting upset! This is just a fun thing we're doing, so please don't start any arguments or ship wars if I say your favourite ship is likely not gonna last.

Round 1 is over! We had 336 votes total, and here are the results. The winners are; Saki, Honami, Minori, Airi, An, Akito, Tsukasa, Rui, Kanade and Mizuki! The percentages by which they won are included. The closest match was Honami vs Shiho, with Honami barely winning with a 51.8%. The biggest sweep was Ena vs Mizuki, Mizuki winning with a 61.3%. The only result that actually surprised me was Kanade winning over Mafuyu. A little sad about my faves Ichika and Ena getting eliminated already, but it was expected.

I'm doing a little popularity contest because I'm curious which characters are more popular than the others. Round 1 pits them all against their pairs, vote for the character you like more!

So, at first, I avoided this because I thought it would be another cringe wattpad-like story. Then I ended up giving it a shot (with abysmal expectations) and was actually pretty intrigued by the plot. I like to give stories the benefit of the doubt, so if I interpret the FL's personality as character flaws instead of bad writing, the story suddenly became more interesting. I thought it would be about a girl who warped her views on love because of a toxic relationship and how that's destroying her relationship with her mostly green flag current boyfriend (kind of similar to I'll Give You The Most Rotton One in that aspect, though way less of a masterpiece), but after reading a few of the fast pass episodes... I definitely don't think that's what they're trying to go for anymore 😭😭
