Hey guys, I recently returned to StarCraft II after 5 years. I play Protoss and it seems like every other Protoss I play against are going all Stalkers with very little variety. I never really see robotics or air units. Are Carriers and a Mothership still a valid strategy?

I play a lot of 2v2 with my best friend (Zerg) and we used to have a pretty good thing going where he was strong enough early game to basically play 2 on 1 and I was strong enough late game to play 2 on 1, but I haven't been holding up my end of the bargain. Just wondering if I'm rusty or if Protoss air units have been nerfed.
