If you guys have been following my recent posts, you might know that I am completely obsessed with SingChimon. Both as a pairing and as actors. I have been following them since mid 2018 so about 2 years after Chimon joined GMMtv.

I saw someone on tiktok the other day ask "Why was SingChimon accepted so quickly but PerthSanta got so much hate" which baffled me that someone asked that. While yes, its always shocking and sucks when a new pairing gets hate because of an old pairing, Sing and Achi had a LOT of history together, therefore it just made more sense for them to be a pairing.

So basically I just wanted to share their full story (to my knowledge)

Basically it started when Achi joined GMMtv in 2016. Sing had already been in GMMtv for about a year. Sing was the first person Achi met at the building. They also ended up meeting at the 2016 blessing ceremony for 3 different series, My Lil Boy 2, Puppy Honey 2 and Lovey Dovey (this could be wrong) My Lil Boy 2 is marked as Chimons first series under GMMtv and Puppy Honey 2 (which has Sing as a support role)

Then they finally got casted together in My Dear Loser. Which everyone seems to forget that Chimon used to be paired with Pluem. When Pluem left, Chimon didn't plan to get back into BL. He actually never planed to be a BL actor at all. But during the time of MDL is when Sing and Achis friendship started. Well mainly it was Chimon who idolized Sing. They messed around with eachother a lot and fans of them back then started shipping them. Even Earth, Gun, and Off were shipping them. They were glued at the hip from like 2016-2022. They also got casted together again in He's Coming to Me. They were always very clingy to eachother. One of my favorite moments is Chimon asking Sing to go to the bathroom with him-. Then ofc they got casted in The Gifted.

Around this time as well is when they were put in School Rangers.

Perth signed to GMMtv in 2022. They wanted Chimon to be his partner and initially, Chimon was hesitant because he didnt really want to get back into BL but changed his mind when he found out his partner would be Perth because Perth and Chimon had a mutual friendship with Ohm Pawat. And then ofc PerthChimon tested their chemistry in Never Let Me Go. Then an official main cast series in Dangerous Romance. During this, Sing was in Not Me and then paired with Jan and worked on Cherry Magic. Chimon and Sing were still close just not as much on screen. This is why I loved School Rangers cuz it gave us some more moments of Sing and Chimon together. Same with Safe House season 4. Sing was always taking care of Achi...I miss S4 so much like 😭. PerthChimon were so cute and I loved the moments it gave us of Sing and Chi. When Achi and Sing both got different partners, obviously they didn't get to hang out as much as before. Especially Chimon cuz he had to sail his ship with Perth. But it was nice to have them both in Home School together.

Then as everyone knows, Chimon had very bad depression so him and Perth agreed to end things and Chimon took a Hiatus. Even while Chimon was out though, Sing was there. There's some photos of them at outings with friends together during Achis hiatus. One moment I think about a lot is when Sing opened his bar and Achi brought him flowers.

Then when Chimon came back, the first series they were put in was DYTD and both of them were very happy. Then when Chimon saw he had to be in another BL he admitted he was nervous because he once again didn't want to do BL but when they told him he'd be pairing with Sing he didn't hesitate and was ecstatic. Sing actually admitted to being the one to place them together (im not sure how but Sing said this during an appearance aon a gambling show with Save and Mond).

I see people saying that Sing fixed something he didn't break but Sing has always been there for Chimon during everything. Like everyone talks about TayNew and FirstKhao but Sing and Chimon were together basically their whole careers. I think everyone is surprised they only got together 10 years later

I'll always love SingChimon...if they stop working together as a pairing, I'll still support them both. I know Chimon has had a rough time in this industry but im hopping that working with Sing makes it better. I know if something happened between them then they would still be close friends.

I noticed that with pairings like OhmNanon, both of them don't appear in the same frame or dont talk about eachother. Or like that one time a fan mentioned OhmNanon to Ohm, he asked to change the subject.

The only time I personally have seen a BL actor mention their ex pairing was recently when Louis was talking about Neo on GMMtv Live House

But when it comes to straight pairings its completely different. SingJan used to be a pairing. And now they constantly joke about it on GMMtv Live House especially infront of Chimon. Jan calls herself Sings ex like they actually dated which they didn't (to my knowledge).

​

It feels like its just a generally accepted thing that ex pairings in BL or GL aren't allowed to be seen together. This isnt just GMMtv either. But I don't fully get it. Like I understand that they want people to accept the new pairing and feed into parasocial relationships. But like I know that some of these pairings that broke up are still friends.

​

As a (NORMAL) OhmNanon fan, I want to see them together again not because of the ship but just to know they forgave eachother for whatever happened between them. But that's just me.

​

Its just weird that straight ships can mention their ex pairings but not BL or GL ships.

​

(PS: I swear I'm a normal OhmNanon fan I just liked their friendship on screen when it lasted. Im completely fine when Ohm or Nanon get new pairings. Infact im very excited for OhmIng)
