I am currently using a pair of Wharfedale Denton 85 that I acquired for $395 USD, the Lintons are $745 USD and come with the original stands.

Would the Lintons be overpowering with boomy bass for a small room/nearfield listening? I’m using an Audiolab 8300A and Arcam SA30 amplifier to power them.

Are the Lintons smoother and more detailed than the Dentons?
