Pro tripod with 200-600 G lens

Hey folks. Anyone use the normal pro tripod (not lite/tall) with 200-600 sony G lens or something similar. I can’t find any reviews per se. I have the aluminum travel tripod but it’s kinda wobbly sometimes. I heard there are major improvements with the new one but I wanted to know how much better it is.

20L travel backpack usability

Hey folks , had a few questions for anyone already using this.

  1. I want to carry my smedium cube + a water bottle. Since the water bottle setup is internal, does it block from using a smedium cube ?
  2. can it also fit a small cube ? So bottle + small cube/tech pouch+ smedium cube
  3. Can we safely strap a travel tripod to the outside (not the bottom part)

PD base plate (capture) with Wimberley MH-100

Hey folks, I was hoping for some real world usage insights.

I have a Sony 200-600 G and 70-200 gm , both are on the default sony lens foot. I sadly can’t get a Wimberly foot replacement (nor am I sure I want to because I heard they don’t play well with our anchors) .

Thing is , I’m setting up a monopod + gimbal system, and I’ve narrowed down to wimberley MH-100, this needs an arca swiss compatible plate (on the lens foot side) . So I was wondering if our PD base plate would work and if anyone has any insight on using this combination . TIA

Hey folks, i have a capture clip and im a bit resistant about using it regularly because i always worry that the camera would drop off it. Do people normally setup a separate tether, either to the bag (in this case a 10L sling or the every/outdoor/travel backpacks) or to your body for the added security? I’ve been trying to figure out a good approach here and im failing miserably. Any help is appreciated , thank you !
