Best camping/viewing spots for perseids meteor shower + milky way photography?

Heading up to the park August 12-13 for the Perseid meteor shower, wondering what campsites are recommended for the darkest sky.

Currently looking at Wildrose or Mesquite Spring.

Also open to camping spots that might not have the darkest sky but are in close proximity to good viewpoints.

Recommendations for a crossbody bag?

Hi all, I'm looking for a cross body sling bag for when I go out and do street photography. It doesn't have to be a dedicated camera bag, as I can always put in a camera cube, but if there are any that you recommend, that would be great.

I'd also want it to function as a regular bag when I go out without my camera.

I have a Canon R8 with a 35mm f/1.8 lens, and ideally I would want to fit that + a waterbottle, and maybe a light jacket(optional), along with some small things like wallet, sunscreen, etc.

I'd prefer it to be under $50 USD.

I've attached some images the style of bags that I like.
Also I like the look of: Think Tank Retrospective Shoulder bag

Wrist strap suggestions for Canon R8?

Looking to get a simple wrist strap for my R8. I do a nature + street photography.
Currently deciding between:
PGYtech wrist strap ($30)
Smallrig Wrist strap ($14)
Peak Design Wrist strap ($40)

tbh pgytech and PD seem quite pricey for the product.

Leaning toward smallrig because of the price, also heard that PD’s metal connectors could scratch the camera.

Any recommendations also appreciated!

Help! Proxmox freezes and becomes unresponsive every few hours-days

Hey all, I've just set up a home server running Proxmox with some old parts I had lying around, which I have a TrueNAS vm running inside. However, I am running into an issue of the server becoming unresponsive every few hours - days, it varies.

I have connected a monitor + keyboard to the machine when it freezes, and it does not take any input from my keyboard. I am also unable to ping the server. The server stays on (cooling fans, mobo lights)

Hardware:
Mobo: Asus PRIME B350-PLUS
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G
RAM: 16GB, DDR4, 2400 MT/s
Storage: 256gb ssd for proxmox
5 4TB HDDs for NAS Storage

I've done a bit of googling, and saw that this could be a hardware issue? If so, what would be the most likely culprit?

If not, what steps can I take to troubleshoot?

Thanks in advance!

Should I run qBittorrent on a separate VM, or as a TrueNAS app?

Hi, I am in the process of setting up a home server, and I am pretty new to everything, so any extra advice would be awesome.

I am currently running a TrueNAS and Debian VM through proxmox. My goal is to set up a media server for movies and tv-shows, using Jellyfin to view.

Currently, I have TrueNAS set up with Radarr, Sonarr, Prowlarr, and Jellyfin. On my Debian VM, I have qBittorrent in a docker container with gluetun, using Proton vpn.

I'm not quite sure if this is the correct set up, or if I should have my *arr stack and qBit both on TrueNAS, or both on the Debian VM.

Also, would it be a bad idea to seed from my NAS? My current strategy was to have qBittorrent act as a middleman, downloading all torrents into a nfs share that is linked to my Truenas.

If I am missing any info, let me know!

EDIT:
Thanks everyone for the suggestions, ended up running qbit + gluetun in a docker container with dockge within truenas :)
