Work-Life Balance/Taking PTO

Hey all! I’m a new CoS (since Jan 2026) in a small org (<15) with a flat structure. I have a great leader who values work-life balance, etc. However, I’m finding it tough to respect my own leave. Part of this is because of emergent issues that need my attention, staff issues or questions since our leader is mostly external facing, and also part of this is on me and not having good boundaries since starting this role (my work boundaries were really solid - working 9-5p. Now it’s 9-8:30p and working during my PTO)

How have others navigated this? I have a leadership coach and my leader wants me to break, but the reality of the job is often different.
