So I recently asked for some help with specifics before test driving a 2022 Golf GTE. Turns out I liked the car and I bought it (in my head I bought it 5 minutes into the test drive 😂).
So thanks for the help! More next week when I pick it up. It's currently getting a major service including gearbox oil change.
Hello everyone, I'm new here and looking to purchase my first Golf: a mk 8 GTE. This particular car has 55,000 km and is from 2022. It's on sale at a VW dealer with 12 month included warranty and the option to buy another 12 months for ~900 eur.
I'm looking for advice on mk8 GTE specific things to test when I test drive it on Friday.
I'm aware of the infotainment sometimes being very buggy (apparently fixed with the most recent versions). Apart from that my research came up short on what to look for (other than the usual stuff when test driving a car.
Any engine/DSG/suspension things to look out for?
