Already being balls deep into Alfred's 2, it feels like I'm not there yet. I tried to learn every single piece of the first course to my best capabilities, only moving on when I could play it at least for once without making any mistakes. Still, some "longer" pieces are very difficult to complete without a fingerslip here and there. When not playing sheet music, I play around with scales and chord variations. For context, it took me about 4 months to play through the first book.
Now, should I keep revisiting and perfecting troublesome pieces or just move on? The first repetitions of C and A minor seem awfully sluggish at speed, although I manage to play them easily at slower tempo. Or maybe move on and still keep repeating from book 1? (i swear if I have to listen to 'Have yourself a merry little xmas' one more time, I'm going to hurt someone)
Unfortunately all of the headrest droplets broke off and a lot of printing residues can still be seen. Drybrushing once again being my friend aswell as my foe.
