Anyone else want to travel but can never find someone to go with?

This might sound a little weird, but I’ve been thinking about this problem for a while.

I love the idea of travelling to a new place, but there’s one thing that often stops me - finding someone who actually wants to go.

Friends are busy. Some have different budgets. Some want completely different kinds of trips. And sometimes you just want to go somewhere that nobody you know is interested in.

So I started working on a small project around this idea: a place where people who want to travel can find others who are interested in similar trips.

I’m calling it TravoBuds.

It’s very early right now, so I’m not here pretending I’ve built the next big travel app 😅. I’m actually trying to figure out whether this is a problem other travellers have too.

So I’m curious:

How do you guys find people to travel with when your friends/family aren't available?

Do you usually:

• just travel alone
• post in Facebook/WhatsApp groups
• use Reddit
• ask friends of friends
• or simply cancel the trip?

I’d genuinely love to hear how other people deal with this.
