A much deserved and exciting win for the Summit!!! Thoughts on tonight’s game?

For me: Glad the team banded together without Heaps. Flint had an immediate impact when subbed in. Would love to keep this lineup except Heaps for Yuma and Flint for Brazier. Means stepped up well tonight. So proud of the team for rallying after the late Utah game.

What are your predictions for this week’s matches? Hoping we can walk away with at least 7 points (2 wins, one tie)

Let me preface this by saying I’m not calling for his firing immediately. An expansion team takes an immense amount of work and the results won’t be immediate. I also don’t want to get caught in the cycle Angel City is where they seem to have a new coach every season.

However, from what I’ve observed, a lot of the issues I’ve seen from Cushing is his poor strategies and inability to adapt. One of the highlights I had heard about Cushing was his ability to develop young players. So far, the only noticeable version of this is Devin Lynch who has continued to improve all season. Otherwise I would say no one has looked incredibly different from the start of the season (general improvement of course, but nothing extraordinary). Of course these players won’t change overnight, but I question when I don’t see some of the younger players not getting any meaningful minutes.

At what point do you throw in the towel and look for a new coach? At the end of this season if we finish 10th or below? End of next season if we finish below 8th? Let me know your thoughts!

Looking for a one bedroom/big studio around DTC/Belleview. Just toured the Den and Milehouse and liked both of them, has anyone lived there recently and has any thoughts? I recognize most apartments have some issues (occasionally broken elevators, etc.) but I don’t want to be miserable/frustrated 24/7. Budget around 1700/month. Hate the fact that we always have to be concerned about getting scammed but that’s the nature of it.

Alright y’all little late on this one, but what a great way to start off our stay at Centennial Stadium. Some controversial refereeing, but the Summit persevered and secured the three points!

What did you like, what didn’t you like, what changes should we see going into playing the Washington Spirit at Rowdy Audi?

Defensively we looked better, but I still think we need to be more clinical in our offense. We far out possessed Portland and we only had 5 big opportunities. I don’t like Flint at wing, would like her at striker maybe and Thomas on wing instead (that’s also where she played in college at times).

Who’s excited to see Lindsay debut? Do you think Denver can pull of an upset against the Portland Thorns?

2-2 draw means the Summit walks away with one point. Gaetino and Kossler initially benched in favor of Thomas and Reid. Thought Reid looked great but both conceded goals were sloppy and a result of the continuation of playing too high of a defensive line. Thoughts going into going into the match vs the Portland Thorns?

Alright y’all, perhaps our toughest loss yet. What changes are you making going into next week?? For me I’d like to see someone else at striker. Kossler hides from the ball too much for my taste and isn’t fast enough. I also want Reid back in - she is much more steady than Gaetino.

At the STM Summit event, PPM was not here and they announced Kat Asman joined the Summit (from Orlando). Is PPM going to Orlando to replace Moorhouse??? She certainly should be a starting GK (French NT starting GK). Thoughts??
