Are there any photos or anecdotes about Jimi performing at London's Troudadour Coffee House?

Our first rental while traveling abroad ever was in Dubrovnik. The owners were the Van Bloemons and their adult son. That couple were the original operators of the Troubadour. They told us about Bob Dylan and Paul Simon playing gigs there, but they had scant comments about Jimi's performances at their tiny venue. Are there any images of or stories about Jimi's visits to that place?

I am done. The end.

Metaxi Mas: a loooooooong, photo-dense TR about Athens

Hi fellow travelers,

My wife and I always create one of our quirky TRs whenever returning from a trip. Below is our Athens report from a few years ago, which as always combines music, humour, logistical tips with plenty of imagery.

Over on Fodors, I go by the alter-ego 'zebec'. That is a Greek word actually, one used to denote a kind of ancient Mediterranean ship. This below TR was the first of a 5-part series with the same title. The latter four cover: Patmos, Folegandros, Santorini and Samos.

Enjoy! (metaxi mas='between us')

I am done. The end.

Last night's episode of 'Law & Order Toronto' included a clip of 'Tom Sawyer' while showing an assassin conman forging paperwork in his home. In my opinion, the match did not work and came across as corny. Additionally, one of the companies mentioned as perpetuating mortgage crime was a 'Hemispheres bank'.

Sometimes, the micromanaging of a brand can result in utterly tacky moments.

One fan's humble opinion.

I am done. The end.
