Hi everyone, I’m travelling to Tirana (12-17/7) soon and wanted to ask for some recent advice from people who are currently there or have visited recently.
I’ve seen some reports about protests in the city, so I’m wondering how much this is affecting tourists in practice. Are things generally still running normally, such as airport transfers, public transport, buses, hostels and restaurants? Are the protests limited to certain areas or times of day, or do they affect the wider city? I’m not planning to get involved in anything political, I just want to understand whether it still feels safe and manageable to visit at the moment.

Any recent first-hand experiences would be really appreciated.
