Background in IT & Cybersecurity sales here. Started out (a decade ago) in inside sales, moved into full-cycle AE roles, and eventually sales leadership/management.

While I'm not deeply technical, I've made the effort over the past few years to earn several certifications (Microsoft, AWS, Cybersecurity).

A few years ago, I moved into a CSM Role at a Cybersecurity company and genuinely liked it, but unfortunately got caught in a re-org after about 12 months.

Most recently, I was back in sales and got hit by a RIF at the end of 2025.

The past 5-6 months have honestly been a grind. Lots of interviews, lots of final rounds for senior / global team roles, and plenty of ups and downs...but I become more intentional about where I wanted to land long term (knowing I wanted to get back into Customer Success).

Happy to say I have finally signed an offer to return as a CSM in the cybersecurity space!!
