There were many creations of the God Sult, the creation of Annabel whose evil became hunger and hunting. To the creatures that Vanessa, Fey Mother, brought to Nhearn, he created a terrible desire, and with his influence there became predators upon Nhearn.
Throughout the Age of Woe Sult founded many creatures that he had twisted from their original creation, making what the lands of hope called Beastkin, though among them were many variety.
Gnolls of the Badlands were among the greater beasts, capable of thought and tactic, though bent to violence in their purpose.
Satyr, crafted to harm in the most devios of ways, became strong thinkers and tricksters, luring their enemies into ambushes, traps, and battles of unsavory odds.
Though the enemies of the gods who defended goodness were crafted in grand thought, their own corruption often ended their grand designs. The beastkin would often fight among themselves, their predatory nature driving them toward conquest even over one another. Eventually the wood elves, the sylvarri, defeated the God Sult shortly into the First Age, using the weapon of Annabel and the weaknesses of Sult against himself...
