86 on teas my first try!

hey guys i’ve never made a post on here but i used this thread a lot when i was studying so maybe i can help yall!

The first thing i would say is don’t stress too much i studied on and off for the past month but really honed in for 2 days leading up to the test. This honestly wasnt the best method but i felt a little more confident since i completed A&P 1 and 2, chemistry, biology, and i am currently in microbiology. I found on the practice tests i took was way more complex and advanced questions than on the actual teas. Seeing all those hard questions really scared me but there aren’t many like that on the actual test. Most are very surface level but you do need to know all the basics for science. That is what i focused on the most and it was my second highest section. For math, i got a 97% you can use the calculator for most of the questions and you will be good. Know median, mean, mode. For conversions they give you most of them so you don’t have to memorize them all. For reading and english definitely learn the rules and practice, practice, practice. These were the sections i didn’t spend that much time on because i thought it would be easier but they were my 2 lowest sections.

For studying I used the official ati book and bought practice test a. On the first try i got a 76 on it so that scared me a lot too so i started studying harder. However I felt that that test was way harder than the actual thing so if you do good on that it will help you a lot. I also watched Nurse Cheung on youtube for review and TYLER DEWITT he was so good at explaining chemistry and overall for the science section. I also used a bunch of free practice test like mometrixs. I recommend to take the practice test on there it was pretty accurate and gave questions at the same complexity level as the actual teas.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!! this test is really scary but you all can do it! lmk if yall have any questions!
