28 and finally getting my license.. where should I take my road test? 😭

I’m 28 and finally making it a goal to get my driver’s license before the end of this year. 🥹
I’ve always been really anxious about driving, which is honestly the biggest reason I’ve waited this long. I really want to get over the fear and become more independent, though, so I’m determined to do it!
For anyone in the Mesa/Tempe/Chandler area who has taken their road test recently:
Where did you take it, and how was the route?
Are there any MVD or third-party locations that you felt had an easier/more beginner-friendly route?
I’d especially love to hear about:
Which location you tested at
What the route was like
Whether you had to parallel park/3-point turn/etc.
Anything you wish you had practiced beforehand
If you’re an anxious driver or learned later in life, I’d LOVE to hear your experience too.
I’m hoping to start practicing consistently and finally get my license before the end of the year. Any advice, encouragement, or recent experiences are appreciated!! ❤️
