We will be holding one of our regular open league tournaments following the 14th Champion’s Meeting - Gemini Cup II. This is a chance for more competitive open league trainers to test their carefully crafted teams out against each other in a friendly tournament, with a monthly carat pack given as a prize to the winner. We have a friendly and active discord community, and we encourage any players who want to test their mettle, or just learn more about A+ open league, to join up and take part.

Tournament details

Format: The tournament will be a swiss style tournament(Wikipedia Link) held over 4 rounds of Bo3 races. Each player will register 3 runners (A+ skill point cap) to use throughout the tournament and switches between rounds will not be allowed. 3 points will be awarded to the winner of the Bo3, 1 point to the second place and 0 points to last place. The winner will be the player with the most points at the end of 4 rounds. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by the top scoring players’ record against each other in the tournament. Races will be the same as the CM: Tokyo Turf 1,600m (Mile), Left, Spring, Sunny, Firm conditions and mood will be set to normal. Room creators, please check race settings, especially mood, and set the time to start to 24h.

Dates: Registration is currently open and will close on June 11th 10PM UTC, 24 hours after CM finals close. First round groups will be determined at random and announced on discord. After room matches have been created, players will have 24 hours to join and run their races for that round. Please make sure to be available on discord over the tournament period. The final round is expected to finish by June 15th.
