Losing my mind figuring out where this plug goes

Two wire delphi plug next to the injectors on the drivers side, 2007 new body 5.3 silverado. Pulled intake, valve covers, and heads to replace gaskets. Putting er back together and this has me lost. Should be for knock sensors on the last gen, but here the knock sensors are on the sides of the block instead of under the intake. Both ensues on the back of the block(pressure and cam position) are plugged in, MAP and MAF are good, coolant temp is good, can’t be coils or injectors either, nor throttle body. Did they just reuse the old harness with a now vestigial connector, or am i missing something. Thanks!
