They spoke a little about it during orientation. I know that it gives you a stipend at the beginning of your first semester (?) and some textbooks.
And it also allows you to do Nurse 3 in the summer so you can graduate a semester early. That's about all I remember.
I called my PCP office almost everyday to see if it switched over and still hasn't. On the initial Thursday call with Cigna to switch, they told me it would take about 72 hours.
I called Cigna again yesterday to see what's up and they told me to try again next Tuesday with the PCP and to present them with a confirmation number? I don't understand what's happening, is this normal?
I'm looking at IRSC's professional development site, where the CPR class registrations are supposed to be but I don't see any classes available?
I even followed the QR code given to us in our ADN orientation packet, which is just the same site.
Unfortunately I messed up and couldn't take microbiology before I got accept into the ADN program for this fall. 😭
For students in the program already, when do you think is the best time to take it? I have a bachelor's already, so no need for other classes except nursing.
I got "provisionally accepted"! My stats were:
- All As in preqs except for a B in math (Statistics).
- GPA 3.2 to 3.3 I can't remember as it's from my first bachelor's 💀
- HESI 93 comp, 96 A&P, 96 Math.

My scores: 96 A&P, 96 Math, 94 Vocab, 92 Bio, 90 Reading for a total of 93 overall.
But ig its better to be overprepared...now I can finally enjoy my summer 😌🙏
EDIT: The quizlets I used to study are linked below, mostly my own. HESI A2 practice folder has stuff made by others, included the accurate A&P test sets.
Didn't look into test-accurate Bio sets, just learned off Nursehub/my own Quizlets, which covered a lot of the test. I did not study for vocab, reading, and most of the math (studied measurement conversions only)
Just finish up my HESI A2 and did pretty well. Today was the last test day. Does anyone know when decisions come back and where do we hear from? Email? IRSC email?
