I have had bumps on my forehead and hairline area that haven’t gone away completely since 9/2023 (prior to this my skin was completely clear)
One dermatologist said is was folliculitus and another one said it was comedones.
The bumps differ in amount but they haven't gone away completely. And at times they can be itchy and sting.
I have tried soolantra, tretinoin cream, clindamycin, cabtreo gel, Panoxyl Acne Creamy Wash, Sodium sulfacetamide 8% and sulfur 4% topical suspension but none of them worked. The Sodium sulfacetamide 8% and sulfur 4% worked the best out of all of these but it still didn’t completely clear them and I was worried about developing antibiotic resistance from it and it ruining my skin’s microbiome so I stopped using it 11/2025 (I started it 5/2025)
