Ragnar Lothbrok

Ragnar Lothbrok

Thoughts? The idea was to recreate Ragnar's rise and how his children avenge his death. As you can see, I’ve combined mechanics from Sinbad, Achilles, and the playable Mothman. I hope it's not too unbalanced.

Sorry it’s not in English, it’s for a present. But if I see a lot of people asking for it, I could translate it.

Prediction for the 100th hero

With the recent announcements, we are getting close to having 100 playable heroes. Counting the announced sets, we are at 90 (possibly 92, if the SiT villains are playable like the TMNT ones).

This means that by the time the next batch of sets is announced (likely in 2028), we will know the identity of the 100th hero.

What are you hoping for? A major IP like LOTR capitalizing on the fact that Restoration is getting closer to that IP thanks to King's Gambit? Or perhaps a Star Wars box that pays homage to Epic Duels? Or do you think the 100th character should be a Public Domain figure?

What do you think?

Pinocchio

I love that a year ago, Unmatched Workshop organized an unofficial design tournament themed around fairy tales, and then yesterday, Restoration announced Once Upon a Time.

Here is the Pinocchio version I designed for the contest:

I’m really excited about this set.

A few weeks ago, this year's contest took place with the theme "Broken." My entry was the Lernaean Hydra. I’m sharing it here too in case you’d like to take a look:

I’d love to see it appear in an UMA set alongside the Minotaur as playable villains facing off against heroes like Heracles, Perseus, Circe, Hippolyta...
