Hi, I've been trying to look for a lecture or YT video on houses as they relate to specific locations. I understand there are basic understanding of 3H as the neighborhood/locally or 9H as places of worship/expansion of knowledge. For the places in the house it's obvious that 4H would be basement, 10H would be an attic, 7H a bedroom. But would want to understand more especially when we're trying to locate things/people.

Context:
I received an unwelcome "warning" from a friend/former classmate that our ex-mentor was using the details of our birth charts he acquired from us to cast a hex; using our weaknesses against us. Personally, upon hearing this I feel that the (although well-meaning) intrusion of this ex-classmate is what connects the ex teacher to me.

I have had (3) practitioners tell me our ties have been cut, and I've done rituals to actively cut off his access to my energy. I also have not so much as thought about this until former classmate brought him up to me. Part of my tone on the quesited is that I've told the ex classmate I don't want to be associated to this ex mentor even energetically.

So my thoughts on the matter was that if there was a spelll cast, the actual intrusion that shook my equilibrium/cost of "friendship" with this person who delivered the warning is the max extent of the curse/hex.

Question:
Did the ex teacher really cast a hex & what was the effect?

Me/ASC Lord is Libra Venus, terms of Saturn, face of the moon in the 5H; in rulership
Situation/Co-signifier is Leo Moon conjunct Mercury in the 3H
The moon's terms is Jupiter, face of Saturn
Mercury is peregrine in Leo

Person/Hex/Curse 12H L is the same as 7H L which fits this context
Mars is within 0 degree of Cancer where it is in fall
Terms of itself, face of Venus

Aspects:
not sure if I can still consider this a separating square between 1L & 12/7L bec there is a few arc minutes shy of this movement
Approaching sextile between moon & mercury to 1L

Analysis:
Based on the discussion here the separating square can verify that there was an attempt at a curse. However, given the essential dignities where my significator is in rulership v the 12L in fall, not successful. Not sure if with the 12L in the house of my co-signifier makes it that the attempt was weak/foiled by an intervention or natural circumstances.

*anecdotably, I dont know if this supports towards this being a radical chart, the ex teacher does have a cancer Mars as a natal placement. Ex friend also said that ex teacher used Aries to amplify hex/curse. 12H is Aries in this chart.

In conclusion, the (ex) friend is correct there was a curse attempt but wrong in thinking it would still matter in my reality.

I need to confirm how to check if someone did work against me. I had received unwelcome, intrusive news and i feel that the hex more about shaking my equilibrium over any actual negative work.

If these are the conditions, would I need to check the validity of the divination work I didn't ask for or go straight to check if the curse was thrown my way?

Also want to put out the person who gave the warning said the left-hand work involves astro magick & from a former mentor.

Trying to cast to check when I will get paid for a past contract. I left Job A and in Job B now. But I also have another incidental source of funds I dont want to tap into. My fear is if I check just 2L it can indicate either Job B or incidental source. What would the appropriate signifier for Job A be given it's not current employment?

So I'm going through re-learning horary through all the texts I can source online and found myself on "strictures against judgment" portion of the practice. My current question is:

"Disagreement between the hour lord and the ascendant sign"

Am I correct in understanding that looking at the planetary hour, and seeing how that hour lord does in the ascendant sign? Meaning if my hour lord is Venus, and I see that it's a Aries or Scorpio ascendant, that's a huge question on the integrity of the chart.

What happens when the planet is peregrine to the sign?

Context: I've been a few weeks at a company whose job offer I accepted for purposes of a stop gap between expenses (hello this economy). But as I'm in the process of learning the business model of this company, I find far more cons than pros (can't fully articulate bec of a NDA & I don't want to give it away in case).

Interpretation/Technique clarification: I'm not sure if I should see this from the format of the 'should I stay or go' where I look into the conditions of L1 & L7. If that is the case, it's very easy that the peregrine venus in Cancer is better than a mars in Taurus (detriment). The moon in Scorpio (fall) with a separating opposition to L1 is very clear too that while reception would technically save it, essential dignities put that at a disadvantage. L7 is in the sign of the moon and there is an applying trine in 2 degrees. Also the Lot of Fortune is in L7 with the moon approaching it in 12 degrees.

However, if the should I stay or go format is not applied, I'm not so certain how the answer is assessed. 10L is in the sign of rulership of L1 but it is in fall. And these are 2 malefics in interplay. Would the signifier of the next job (the hypothetical one I need to keep applying for when I leave) be 12L or 11L in this regard? If it's 11L that's just the same signifier as 10L. 12L would be Jupiter in Cancer but that puts it in the sign of L1's fall. Does it mean, both options are not the best, but staying puts me in a mastery position over being somewhere better but I might fail at it?

Context:
I have a friend who I have lost touch with, partly due to his relationship with this woman. Part of the reason we drifted apart was because our friendship caused unease in their relationship. From the last time we spoke, he always expressed how he was unhappy but from the last time we talked, they were still together. I saw his profile & it seems that they have broken up. I'm hesitating to reach out because I don't want to cause trouble in any case.

Signifcators:
As the querent, I take 1L and Jupiter as my cosignifier in this case because of the interception in the 1 & 7 Hs. I am fallen in aries as Saturn, which shows that I'm not really that present in my friend's life; and in the context of this question, I'm not in a spot to ask someone who would have the answer.

My friend's signifiers are the Sun & Mercury in Taurus; currently in a cazimi. that separating sextile between Jupiter and the Sun conj Mercury which is expressed in 3 degrees accurately shows the length of time since we last spoke.

The woman who may or may not be his ex is Gemini venus in this chart. I think that venus being in Gemini, which is a mutable sign reflects how my understanding of their situation being unclear. It's also a sign where my signigicator is in fall, which reflects the limit of my connection to her as well.

Interpretation:
That both his & the woman's signifiers are in each other's rulership actually has me confused. It's technically mutual reception but the planets are both also peregrine. Their signifiers make no aspect; or will take a full 30 degrees to make another conjunction. But also that they're internalizing saturn feels tricky to me, which probably is accurate for where they both are.

For me, they might not be in a formal relationship but they have to maintain an appearance of civility; plausibly something practical necessitates this given the decan of both planets.

The moon could have technically been a third signifier for me, but I'm not so sure it should be considered since I have two already. In this case as my ruler, it being in an applying aspect in 1 degree to the woman's signifier may give clarity in whatever that unit of time that translates to.
