The gate was wide open, it's dark, I drove in, then the gate closed behind me. I'm locked in, it's a scam exit and I can't get out. Does anyone know a number to call to get out? THANK YOU I ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP!!!
Update: I'm out! A kind redditor offered to help me get out - when I met him at the gate someone happened to be entering and I drove out. What a relief!
Any advice for how best to set my kid(/s) up for a kick start at life when they're around 20-25?
My wife (29F) and I (40M) are about to have our first kid. I own an apartment that we live in which I'm looking to sell and buy a house. I'm looking to max out my super and gift my kids something from my super for a house deposit when I retire/when they're ready to buy (the timing should be decent if I retire in my early to mid 60s).
Further context, I have around $400k in my super account and from my next pay I'll be maxing out the $32.5K contribution with $150 in voluntary contributions fortnightly.
Is this a good strategy for a saving account for my kids?
It feels like investing in shares is flawed for this purpose after the goals were moved.
