CASH SAVINGS VS BTC SAVINGS

the 5% interest wow the 3% was great reward but that extra 2% i hope it stays long!!!

up to 100,000, CDIC insured so does that mean my 5% interest is only on the cash but the CDIC is protecting the money value of the BTC inside the savings.

just trying to find the advantage of holding the BTC inside savings vs regular account?
