Dafuq do I do now :( (got injured just before going)

I quit my job, trained for months, even booked my flight...but few days before going my shoulder dislocated (first time).

Do I just pray my recovery is complete and in a reasonable time period? From what I see online, it can take from few weeks to months, and that is under the assumption Im lucky enough to recover fully.

My goal is to join assault infantry.

Best DA unit for a solid but non-elite candidate?

In short, here is my profile:

• Age: 31

• Nationality: Croatian

• Military experience: none

• Weapons competency: completed a 3-day course in basic rifle handling

• Mentally and physically healthy

• I don't drink, do drugs or smoke

• Criminal record and political affiliations: none

My fitness level:
• Push-ups: 48 in 2 minutes

• Weighted sit-ups (10 kg on chest): 65 in 2 minutes

• Pull-ups: 12

• 4 km run: 19 minutes 15 seconds

• 6.25 km ruck (21 kg): 1 hour 10 minutes

I still have a few more weeks of hard training in front of me before going, so I expect the numbers to increase, but not dramatically.

Overall, I would say that my fitness level is decent, but I never was and will probably never be an elite athlete. Besides that, my biggest weakness is obviously lack of military experience.

So, all things considered, I would like to make the best of my abilities and find a unit that would push my limits and allow me to work with the most competent people possible, while being realistic and not wasting time for all parties involved by biting off more than I can chew.

Trench sitting is not beneath me, and I will do it if I have to, but I have a strong preference for a direct-action infantry role.

Also, while I do need a few more weeks to finish my preparations, after that I want to go to Ukraine ASAP instead of sitting on my ass for months, so units with extremely long initial pipelines might not be the best fit.

My research did yield some units that may be in my alley, but the results are far from conclusive.

A 3rd SSO Regiment recruiter recommended these units:
• 4th SSO Regiment: barely any info on this sub, I found just one post painting it in a negative light

- GUR Special Unit Omega: mostly good things about them here, strict standards

They sound good, but I'm unsure if they are above my ability level.

Besides them, I found the following recommended in this sub:

- Azov and 3AB: two of the most commonly mentioned units, but Azov seems to be going through some kind of reorganization and there are plenty of horror stories about 1st Rifleman Brigade in 3AB

- Tempest: good reviews, but the most recent post/comment I found said they were disbanded?!?

- Da Vinci: also good reviews, but not much mentioned about them lately

Any advice would be appreciated!

Notice: I would prefer not being DM'd by “recruiters” as I don't trust randos on Reddit. Official channels and verified users only.
