New teacher - how to be the best sub around?

Hi all! I wish I had discovered this sub before now, but oh well! I am a new teacher who just got on a sub list for the fall (yay!). I was wondering if any current teachers or subs had any tips on how to be the best sub around? Things that make you want to request the same sub again/ get you calls? I was also considering making 'business cards' as I have seen other subs do that, but I'd like them to be fun/unique. I am super excited to embark on this new journey!

Help! Repotted my monstera and its dying. What do I do?!

Help! I repotted my monstera to a slightly larger pot, from plastic to terra cotta. Within a few days one leaf died (turned brown) and the other 2 large leaves have started going brown and yellow. What do I do?! She has always been in the corner of my living room getting indirect bright light. I water her when the top inch is dry.

Fyi: the reason why there are only 2 leaves is because it was a rooted cutting I got from a friend. I have had it for 6+ months and it that time it has put out 2 baby leaves that have since died.
