Issues with compounding pharmacy?
I'm about to get my sixth estrogen implant, and have always used Complimentary Compounding in Ballina. My previous one they switched my name back to my government name and refused to call me by my lived name. Then the implant only lasted about half as long as the one before that. So after reading on here it was suggested to use Greens in Adelaide. However they wanted a lot more money and they quoted six weeks. Both ridiculous. I ended up going back to the Ballina one (I figured, devil you know), the lady on the phone did at least call me by the correct name. It arrived in days, addressed to my government name. Ugh. I guess that's not a huge problem but it was still unexpected.
I'm concerned about two things:
- they read back my credit card number on file to me, instead of confirming from me. I work in a PCI controlled field so this is a big no no
- is there a way to test the pellets? My first four implants I got to over 700pmol estrogen but the latest one I only got to 450. That coincided with the general transphobic feeling so could they have done something dodgy?
Lastly, Any other suggestions for next time?
