I started my employment in 2023 & applied for a 2 year extension now, my salary in 2023 was 26.5K & it was revised to 42.5K for renewal cos but home office asked my employer that the salary is below requirement and then we revised it to 55K.

My SOC is 2133- IT Consultant

Visa is still under review but I don't understand why home office wants my employer to revise salary to a new applicant instead of the on going rate which is 41K. Anyone renewed visa recently or experienced a similar issue?
