I was about as green as you can possibly be when I started. I’ve learned a lot but i still feel really behind. My local slowed down a ton so I’ve spent a lot of time laid off. And I’ve also been out of work due to surgery before that. I haven’t gotten very lucky with work experience either. I have tried to be proactive asking for a rotation and different experience at jobs. Sometimes it just wasn’t an option. I don’t know what to do. I feel like I’m always going to be the first one let go because people expect me to know more than I do at this point. I’m about halfway through my apprenticeship. How can I recover this? Does anyone relate?
