Alexis is sometimes acting insufferable on court

I'm all for expresivity during the match, but throwing equipment around is just spoiled and he does it every now and then.

After this match against Felix he refused to shake umpire's hand which was so petty and childish. The yellow was maybe somewhat rigid but it wasn't unreasonable and it definitely didn't impact his game much, since it was only a yellow.

People like calling these acts "competitive" but really all elite TT players are extremely competitive, they wouldn't be there if they weren't, I think we should call this what it is and that is toxic behaviour.

And it's so funny cause one of the commentators likes calling Alexis the "macho man" while his bratty behaviour is literally anything but that.

Both brothers have these extremely annoying moments (while I think Alexis is worse) and it's also very frustrating because I love watching them play and their playstyles are very fun. I know some people don't see it that way, I'm open for discussion 🤷‍♀️

without any exaggeration, one of the strongest mental performances i ever witnessed in this sport

this man is:
-dealing with injuries for half a year, poor performances at the championship
-playing against a player who's in way better form
-very aware that if he loses, chances of his countries' 26 year streak ending will skyrocket
-saving two match points with zero sets won
-winning a game after losing 7 points in a row at 10-3 up
-and ultimately winning the match

we still dont know who advances, but this performance is to be commended in every possible way
